What we are looking for:

• QTS with recent KS1 teaching experience
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
• High expectations for behaviour, attainment, and personal development
• Strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
• Collaborative, reflective, and organised approach to teaching and learning

Key responsibilities:

• Teach a Year 1 class full-time, fostering curiosity, independence, and a love of learning
• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND
• Track pupil progress and use assessment to inform planning and next steps
• Contribute to year group and whole-school initiatives and projects
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes wellbeing, confidence, and resilience
• Engage with parents and carers to build strong partnerships supporting pupils’ learning and development
