About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Maths ECT to join a rapidly growing and improving secondary school in Swindon. This full-time role commencing in January 2026 is perfect for an Early Career Teacher looking for excellent professional development and clear pathways for progression.

The role involves teaching Mathematics to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ideal candidate will be committed to raising attainment and fostering a positive attitude towards numeracy and advanced mathematical concepts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the KS3 and KS4 Mathematics curriculum, ensuring strong conceptual understanding.
  • Effectively track student progress and implement interventions where necessary.
  • Collaborate with department colleagues to share best practices and develop new resources.
  • Take on pastoral responsibilities, potentially as a Form Tutor.
  • Fully engage in the school's robust ECT mentoring and CPD programme.
