Attendance Officer – Nottinghamshire – January 2026
A thriving 11–16 academy in Nottinghamshire is seeking a reliable, assertive and compassionate Attendance Officer to join its pastoral team from January 2026.
The Role
You’ll play a crucial role in improving pupil attendance and punctuality.
Typical duties include:
- Monitoring attendance data daily via Bromcom / SIMS
- Making first-day calls and recording reasons for absence
- Conducting home visits with pastoral staff (as required)
- Working with Heads of Year on attendance action plans
- Preparing reports and updates for SLT and external agencies
- Building trusted relationships with families to support barriers to attendance
