ECT: Physics Teacher – Start Your Career with Nurturing Induction and a Focus on Practical Physics – Redbridge

A nurturing and supportive secondary school in Redbridge is recruiting an enthusiastic ECT of Physics (Year 1 or 2) with a focus on practical skills to join their vibrant faculty from January 2026.

  • ECT: Physics Teacher required from January 2026

  • Ideal for a graduate seeking intensive mentoring and a focus on engaging laboratory work.

You will teach Science at KS3/4, specialising in Physics. The induction includes a reduced timetable and a dedicated mentor, focusing on mastering effective practical demonstrations and safe laboratory management, supported by dedicated technicians.

Experience and Qualifications

  • QTS or completing final training in Science (Physics)
  • High academic ability and a deep passion for the physical sciences
  • Willingness to fully engage in the structured mentorship and CPD programme
  • Desire to contribute to STEM extension activities
