We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Caretaker to join a warm, inclusive primary school in Leeds. This role is full-time and permanent, ideal for someone with strong practical skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe school environment.

About the Role
Responsibilities include:
• Opening and locking the school site
• Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Ensuring site security and health & safety compliance
• Supporting contractors, deliveries, and school events
• Maintaining external grounds and playground areas
• Responding to issues promptly and professionally

Experience and Qualifications
• Previous caretaking or maintenance experience desirable
• Strong practical/DIY skills
• Understanding of health & safety
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to high standards

Salary
Paid to local authority support staff scale.
