The Opportunity & Contract Profile

This Outstanding academy in Sheffield requires a highly reliable and practical individual to maintain the daily security, cleanliness, and functionality of the school premises. The role is vital in ensuring a safe learning environment and requires flexibility for evening shifts.

Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope

  • Site Security: Key holder duties, managing alarm systems, and securely locking up and opening the premises.
  • Maintenance: Performing minor repairs (DIY, basic plumbing/electrics), and assisting the Site Manager with maintenance logs and external contractor supervision.
  • Presentation: Ensuring internal areas and external grounds are kept clean, tidy, and fit for use, including setting up facilities for school events.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Essential Requirements: Proven experience in a maintenance or site support role and strong H&S awareness.
  • Salary: Competitive salary (ranging from £23,000 – £27,000 Annually).
  • Support: Generous Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and support for vocational training.
