A leading co-educational independent school in Surrey is looking to appoint a passionate and experienced Chemistry Teacher to join their exceptional Science Faculty from January 2026.

About the Chemistry Department

The Chemistry Department is well-established, high-performing, and equipped with modern laboratories, digital tools, and specialist equipment. The team delivers an intellectually demanding curriculum that encourages experimentation, critical thinking, and problem-solving. The department runs a variety of enrichment programmes including Olympiad preparation, STEM clubs, science fairs, and partnerships with local universities.

The Role

• Teach Chemistry across KS3–KS5 with a focus on GCSE and A Level.
• Deliver practical-based, rigorous, and engaging lessons.
• Support departmental competitions, science week activities, and enrichment.
• Contribute to resource development and curriculum innovation.

Requirements

• QTS and a degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
• Strong practical laboratory skills.
• A passion for inspiring young scientists in an academic setting.
