About the History Department

The Role
• Teach History across KS3–KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available).
• Plan high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
• Contribute to the department’s resources and curriculum development.
• Take part in whole-school activities and professional development.
Requirements
• PGCE or equivalent with QTS awarded by January 2026.
• Strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for History.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
