Our Client is looking for a Geography ECT to work at a high-achieving and well-structured comprehensive school just north of St Albans city centre. The successful candidate will teach KS3–KS4 and take part in departmental planning, revision sessions, and fieldwork-based learning opportunities.

School Information
This school educates around 1,250 pupils and has a strong reputation for academic consistency and a broad, ambitious curriculum. The Geography department is well resourced, offering high-quality textbooks, GIS technology, and opportunities for both local and extended fieldwork experiences. Pupils are engaged and eager to learn, and the school benefits from a stable staff team.

ECTs describe the environment as organised, supportive, and genuinely developmental. The school offers weekly mentor sessions, training on classroom practice, assessment clinics, and opportunities to join working groups on curriculum and pastoral improvement.
