A popular and well-led 11–16 school in the Burton area is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Geography ECT from January 2026. With strong behaviour, clear routines and a very cohesive Humanities team, this is a fantastic first role.
The Role
You’ll teach Geography mostly at KS3–KS4 using a curriculum built around powerful knowledge, strong sequencing and high-quality case studies. Topics include rivers, development, population change, weather hazards and UK landscapes.
Fieldwork is a genuine strength of the department, with:
- Urban studies in Birmingham
- River studies in the Peak District
- Local tourism investigations
