Drama Teacher (ECT) – Telford – January 2026
A large, inclusive secondary school in the Telford area is looking to appoint an energetic and imaginative Early Career Teacher of Drama for January 2026. This is a school with a strong creative arts identity, the type of setting where drama genuinely sits at the heart of student life.
The Role
You will teach Drama at KS3–KS4, delivering a curriculum built around performance skills, devised theatre, script work and reflective practice. Schemes follow a structure widely used by high-performing West Midlands schools, giving you clear direction while still allowing creative freedom.
You will help support:
- The annual school production
- After-school Drama clubs
- Workshops, performances and monologue evenings
- Cross-arts projects with Music and Dance

- A separate performance hall with lighting rigs and tiered seating
- Dedicated rehearsal rooms

ECT Support
Drama ECTs receive excellent support, including:

- QTS (Dec 2025) and a passion for performance
- Confidence working with practical groups
