We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Music Teacher to join an inclusive and creative secondary school in Christchurch. This full-time, permanent role starting January 2026 is ideal for a teacher who is excited about developing musical talent and fostering a vibrant performing arts culture.

School Information
This Christchurch school prides itself on its strong arts provision, inclusive values, and excellent student behaviour. The Music Department has dedicated practice rooms, a digital recording suite, and strong links to local arts organisations. Students regularly participate in concerts, musicals, and competitions, making music a central part of school life.

Role Information
You will teach Music across KS3–KS5, delivering engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons. You will also lead or support ensembles, contribute to whole-school performances, and help grow the extracurricular music programme.

Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in Music or related subject
• PGCE and QTS
• Strong performance or composition background
• Ability to inspire students of all abilities

Salary
Paid to scale on MPS / UPS
