Science Teacher – Colchester

A well-established Good-rated secondary school in Colchester is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their dynamic Science department for an immediate start. The school is looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic, grounded, and able to deliver consistently strong lessons that inspire scientific thinking and academic curiosity.

About the Role

You will teach KS3–KS4 Science using well-structured schemes of work that support coherent progression and reduce workload. The department values a teaching approach rooted in clarity, engaging lesson pacing, and explicit instruction. You will also contribute to practical investigations and demonstrations, helping students understand the real-world relevance of scientific principles.

You will work in a department that:
