The Opportunity & Contract Profile

Join the successful operational team for an Outstanding secondary school in East London. This is a vital practical role supporting the daily maintenance and security of the inner-city premises within a clear, structured framework.

  • Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (52 weeks per year).

Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope

  • Site Security: Key holding duties, locking/unlocking premises, and monitoring access points across the site.
  • Maintenance: Undertaking minor repairs (basic electrics, plumbing, decoration) and ensuring all maintenance and compliance logs are accurately recorded.
  • Support: Assisting the Site Manager with contractor access and general grounds upkeep.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Essential Requirements: Proven reliable background and demonstrated ability to undertake basic maintenance and repairs.
  • Salary: Competitive salary, reflective of Inner London weighting (ranging from £26,000 – £30,000 Annually).
  • Support: Generous Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
