The Opportunity & Contract Profile

Join the operational team of an Outstanding inner-city school committed to maintaining a high-quality environment. This role requires flexibility and practical skills to support the daily running and security of the school buildings and grounds.

  • Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (52 weeks per year).

Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope

  • Site Security: Key holding duties and responsibility for the secure lock-up and opening of the premises, including monitoring access points.
  • Maintenance: Performing minor repairs, basic DIY, and assisting the Site Manager with maintenance logs and scheduled checks.
  • Cleaning & Presentation: Ensuring grounds and buildings are clean, tidy, and assisting with cleaning operations as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Essential Requirements: Proven experience in a site support role, practical skills, and good communication.
  • Salary: Competitive salary, reflective of Inner London weighting (ranging from £26,000 – £30,000 Annually).
  • Support: Generous Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
