A distinguished Independent School in Norfolk is seeking a thoughtful, skilled, and imaginative Art Teacher to join their thriving Visual Arts department for an immediate start. This is a role for a teacher who understands Art as both a technical discipline and a means of personal and cultural expression, and who values working in an environment where creativity is genuinely respected.
About the Role
You will teach Art from KS3 through to KS5, supporting students in:
Drawing fundamentals and observational accuracy
Mixed media, printmaking, illustration, and sculpture
Developing conceptual frameworks for personal project work
Producing well-curated GCSE and A-Level portfolios
The department runs:
Regular exhibitions
Open studio evenings
Workshops with visiting practitioners
Portfolio guidance sessions for students applying to Art Foundation, Fine Art, Architecture, Fashion, and Graphic Design programmes
