Music ECT – Cambridge – Immediate Start – Good School

A well-regarded Good school in Cambridge is seeking a Music ECT to join their Performing Arts team for an immediate start. This school takes great pride in maintaining a rich music culture — concerts, ensembles, rehearsals, and performances are well-supported and valued within the school community.

Role Responsibilities

  • Teaching Music KS3–KS4 using modern, inclusive curriculum sequences

  • Encouraging participation in choirs, ensembles and music clubs

  • Supporting seasonal performances and open-evening events

  • Building confidence in performance and composition

Facilities include:

  • Practice rooms

  • A recording suite

  • Software for composition & digital scoring

  • A performance hall with professional sound equipment

Support for ECTs

  • Guided lesson structure modelling

  • Weekly mentor meetings
