Year 4 Teacher - Lambeth
An ambitious Lambeth primary invites applications for a motivated Year 4 Teacher to join Upper Key Stage 2 from January 2026. The successful Year 4 Teacher will be expected to plan ahead of January 2026, attend a structured induction in January 2026, and take up classroom responsibility from January 2026. Our Year 4 Teacher will design rigorous maths sequences, craft progressive writing units and lead enquiry-based foundation lessons that develop vocabulary and disciplinary thinking.
• Year 4 Teacher - Full-Time role available with a January 2026 start.
• Year 4 Teacher to join an ambitious Lambeth primary - pre-term planning and induction begin January 2026.
• Year 4 Teacher will access targeted CPD and subject networks from January 2026.
Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities
The Year 4 Teacher will: plan and teach high-quality mathematics and English lessons as the Year 4 Teacher; lead foundation topics and practical investigations as the Year 4 Teacher; run booster groups and moderate pupil work as the Year 4 Teacher. The Year 4 Teacher will prepare assessment evidence and present findings at phase meetings from January 2026.
Year 4 Teacher Requirements
We seek a Year 4 Teacher with QTS/PGCE (or equivalent), strong KS2 experience and confident classroom leadership. The Year 4 Teacher must be ready to undertake pre-term planning prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026. Evidence of positive pupil progress and a collaborative approach are essential for the Year 4 Teacher.
