This globally recognised independent school, located in the historic city of York, requires an experienced Premises Manager to maintain its complex and high-profile estate. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent logistical planning, discretion, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards across all facilities, supporting the school's prestigious academic environment.
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
- Operational Leadership: Management of the premises team, oversight of day-to-day operations, and strategic input into future site development.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all facilities comply with statutory regulations and maintaining rigorous security and access controls across the historic campus.
- Facilities Management: Managing cyclical maintenance programmes, negotiating supplier contracts, and ensuring the estate is optimally presented at all times.
Compensation & Benefits
- Significant experience in property or facilities management, ideally with a background managing complex or historic buildings.
