The Opportunity & Contract Profile

Join the dedicated premises team of an Outstanding secondary school. This hands-on role requires practical skills and reliability to ensure the school site remains safe, secure, and well-maintained for students and staff.

  • Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (52 weeks per year).

Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope

  • Site Security: Key holding duties, responsibility for the secure lock-up and opening of the premises, and alarm response.
  • Maintenance: Performing minor repairs, basic DIY, and ensuring all maintenance logs are accurately recorded.
  • Support: Assisting the Site Manager with general porterage, cleaning support, and event setup.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Essential Requirements: Proven experience in a site support role and practical maintenance capabilities.
  • Salary: Competitive salary, dependent on experience (ranging from £24,000 – £28,000 Annually).
  • Support: Generous Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
