The Opportunity & School Profile

Join a professional, high-performing Science department in a prestigious inner-city independent school. This role requires high standards of organisation and technical support to facilitate rigorous academic practical work across the curriculum.

  • Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (52 weeks per year).

Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope

  • Specialism: Focus on Chemistry preparation, while providing general technical support for Biology and Physics (KS3–A-Level).
  • Support: Managing stock levels, conducting regular equipment inventory, and overseeing the clean-up of laboratories.
  • Facilities Support: Ensuring labs and prep rooms meet high standards of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Essential Requirements: Laboratory experience, strong organisational skills, and familiarity with school science practical requirements.
  • Salary: Highly competitive salary, dependent on experience (ranging from £32,000 – £36,000 Annually).
