Year 2 Teacher - Surrey

Are you an experienced Year 2 Teacher seeking a Full-Time role in Surrey from January 2026? A supportive Surrey public school is recruiting a Year 2 Teacher to take responsibility for a purposeful Year 2 class. The successful Year 2 Teacher will join collaborative phase planning before January 2026, complete induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026.

Role summary - Year 2 Teacher
The Year 2 Teacher will lead systematic phonics, secure reading comprehension and scaffolded writing units as the Year 2 Teacher; deliver confidence-building mathematics lessons as the Year 2 Teacher; run targeted small-group interventions as the Year 2 Teacher and work with parents and external partners as the Year 2 Teacher. The Year 2 Teacher will prepare assessment evidence in termly cycles beginning shortly after January 2026.

Year 2 Teacher Requirements
• QTS/PGCE (or equivalent) and proven KS1 impact as the Year 2 Teacher.
• Confident phonics and guided reading practice as the Year 2 Teacher.
• A reflective and collaborative Year 2 Teacher willing to plan before January 2026 and start teaching from January 2026.
