A creative and forward-thinking 11–18 school in Northampton is seeking a motivated Design Technology Technician to support its busy and high-performing DT department from January 2026.

About the Role

You’ll provide technical and practical support to teachers and students across Resistant Materials, Product Design and Engineering. Responsibilities include preparing materials, maintaining tools and machinery, assisting during practical lessons, and ensuring safe working practices throughout the workshops.

The role requires someone with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to supporting both staff and learners.
