Biology Teacher – Independent School – Hertfordshire

We are seeking an inspiring and academically confident Biology Teacher to join a high-achieving Independent School in Hertfordshire from January. This is a full-time, permanent post teaching Biology to KS3–KS5.

About the Role

You will teach A-Level Biology alongside GCSE and lower school Biology. The ideal candidate will have a strong subject background and a passion for deepening scientific curiosity rather than simply teaching to specification. Support is provided for academic enrichment programmes such as:

  • Oxbridge preparation

  • Biomedical pathways guidance

  • STEM competitions and science society events

The Science faculty works collaboratively and places emphasis on exploration, laboratory investigation, and conceptual clarity.
