Year 4 Teacher - Birmingham
Are you an ambitious Year 4 Teacher looking for a full-time position in Birmingham from January 2026? We are recruiting a Year 4 Teacher to join a forward-thinking primary school where the Year 4 Teacher will lead a Year 4 class, support curriculum development and help raise standards across upper Key Stage 2. The Year 4 Teacher will attend induction in January 2026, participate in pre-term planning before January 2026, and begin teaching from January 2026.
Role snapshot
• Birmingham primary with a strong emphasis on academic progress and broad enrichment for each Year 4 Teacher.
• A collaborative KS2 phase that will support the Year 4 Teacher with planning and assessment.
• Regular subject CPD and mentoring available to every Year 4 Teacher from January 2026.
Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver coherent, knowledge-rich maths and English sequences as the Year 4 Teacher.
• Lead foundation subjects, including history and science projects, as the Year 4 Teacher.
• Run booster groups and use formative assessment to personalise learning as the Year 4 Teacher.
• Communicate progress to parents and attend review meetings; the Year 4 Teacher will prepare evidence before January 2026 and teach from January 2026.
Year 4 Teacher Requirements
• QTS/PGCE and proven KS2 experience as the Year 4 Teacher.
• Strong planning, differentiation and behaviour strategies as the Year 4 Teacher.
• Availability for pre-term planning prior to January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to start in post from January 2026.
