Psychology Teacher – Cambridge

Start Date: January 2026

A welcoming and high-performing school in Cambridge is seeking a passionate Psychology ECT to join its thriving Social Sciences department from January 2026. This role is ideal for a teacher keen to inspire curiosity and analytical thinking.

The Role
You will teach A-Level Psychology and contribute to the wider academic life of the school. You’ll have access to high-quality CPD and structured mentoring as part of your ECT development.

The Department
Psychology is one of the school’s most popular subjects at Sixth Form, with a strong record of student success. The team encourages debate, research, and exploration of real-world case studies.

Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging and well-structured Psychology lessons.
  • Support students with research and coursework.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and development.
  • Promote academic discussion and independent learning.
  • Participate in department CPD and enrichment.

About You

  • Psychology graduate with QTS or trainee status.
  • Strong academic background and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Excellent organisation and reflective teaching skills.
  • Team player committed to growth and collaboration.
