Geography Teacher (ECT) – Rugby – January 2026

A welcoming and high-achieving 11–18 school in Rugby is seeking a motivated Early Career Teacher of Geography to join its Humanities faculty from January 2026.

The School

The Role
You’ll teach Geography across KS3–KS4, focusing on a knowledge-rich, enquiry-led curriculum that brings the world to life for students. Fieldwork and local studies are embedded in the programme, and you’ll be encouraged to take part in trips, projects and cross-curricular work.

Support for ECTs

  • Comprehensive induction with regular mentor meetings.
  • Observation and feedback from experienced Geography teachers.
  • Opportunities to lead small projects once you feel confident.
  • Regular CPD sessions on behaviour, curriculum design and assessment.

You’ll Bring

  • QTS (or due to complete) with specialism in Geography.
  • Enthusiasm for exploring real-world issues and global citizenship.
  • Reflective, team-oriented approach to teaching.
