English Teacher (ECT) – Derby – January 2026
A welcoming 11–18 secondary school in Derby is looking for a motivated and reflective Teacher of English (ECT) to begin their teaching career in a supportive, well-organised environment.
The Role
You’ll teach English across KS3 and KS4, introducing pupils to classic and contemporary texts through lively, discussion-based lessons. The department works collaboratively, sharing resources and providing weekly mentor meetings to guide planning, marking and classroom management.
