Science Teacher - Biology – Colchester – Independent School

An established Independent School in Colchester is seeking a passionate Science Teacher (Biology) to inspire students across KS3/4/5 from January.

You will join a department known for academic excellence and genuine enthusiasm for science. Lessons focus on critical enquiry, experimentation, and application of biological principles to global issues.

School Information:
The Science block houses cutting-edge laboratories, a greenhouse, and digital microscopy equipment. The department runs field trips and collaborates with local universities on STEM projects.

The school offers a professional, collegial environment with ongoing CPD and support for those interested in leadership development.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • QTS or Independent School experience

  • Degree in Science/Biology or Life Sciences

  • Experience teaching A-Level Biology advantageous

Salary: Competitive Independent School scale.
