Maths ECT - Welcoming Secondary School in Durham

Our Client is looking for a Maths ECT to work within a forward-thinking mixed school in Durham. The successful ECT will teach KS3 & KS4 and benefit from a structured induction and mentoring system.

School Information
This 11–18 comprehensive serves around 1,250 pupils and consistently achieves impressive results, with 94% achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The Maths department has a reputation for strong collaboration, resource sharing and a culture of continuous improvement.

ECTs are given additional training, classroom support and career guidance to ensure success in their first year. The school fosters a nurturing environment where teachers are encouraged to innovate and grow professionally.

Experience and Qualifications
• Maths ECT with the ability to teach KS3 & KS4
• A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
• Legal right to work within the UK

Paid to scale on MPS
