English ECT - Supportive Secondary School - Huddersfield

Our Client is looking for an English ECT to work within a well-established mixed secondary school in Huddersfield. The successful English ECT will be expected to teach KS3 & KS4 and will receive strong mentoring from experienced teachers and a welcoming senior leadership team.

School Information
This 11–18 comprehensive school serves around 1,200 students and is recognised for its consistently good academic performance, with 92% of pupils achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The English department has a strong reputation for creativity and academic rigour, supported by a wide range of enrichment activities including debating, book clubs and creative writing competitions.

ECTs at this school benefit from a well-structured induction programme that includes weekly mentoring, regular CPD sessions and observation feedback. Experience and Qualifications
