Our Client is looking for an English Teacher to work within a well-established mixed secondary school based in York. This is a full-time position to start from January 2026.

  • English Teacher required to work on a full-time basis

Our Client is looking for an English Teacher to teach across KS3 & KS4 in a department known for fostering creativity and analytical thinking.

Experience and Qualifications
• English Teacher
• Enthusiastic and engaging classroom presence
• A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
• Legal right to work within the UK

School Information
This large 11–18 mixed comprehensive school has around 1,250 pupils and a strong academic record, with 93% achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The English department prides itself on developing students’ confidence through public speaking, literature appreciation, and critical writing.
