The Year 5 Teacher will take part in planning prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and begin classroom duties from January 2026 as the Year 5 Teacher.

About the Year 5 Teacher role
The Year 5 Teacher will plan ambitious topic sequences, lead high-quality reading and maths lessons and design enrichment projects as the Year 5 Teacher. The Year 5 Teacher will run small-group interventions, lead residential preparation and support transition into Upper KS2. From planning in the weeks before January 2026 through to delivery after January 2026, the Year 5 Teacher will be given protected time to prepare and reflect.

Candidate essentials - Year 5 Teacher
We are looking for a Year 5 Teacher with QTS, excellent classroom presence and a passion for creative curriculum design. The Year 5 Teacher must be free for planning before January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to teach from January 2026 as the Year 5 Teacher.
