Our Client is looking for a Music ECT to work within a thriving mixed comprehensive school in Preston. The successful Music ECT will be expected to teach KS3 & KS4 and contribute to extracurricular music and performing arts activities.
School Information
This 11–18 comprehensive school has approximately 1,100 pupils and maintains a strong record of academic and cultural achievement. In 2024, 92% of students achieved grades 9–4 in English and Maths, with Music continuing to flourish through performances, workshops, and inter-school concerts.
The school provides ECTs with a structured induction programme, including mentoring, regular observations, and personalised CPD sessions. The Music department is modern and well-equipped, with rehearsal rooms, a recording suite, and digital composition tools. Experience and Qualifications
• Music ECT with the ability to teach KS3 & KS4
• A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
