Science ECT - Welcoming Secondary School in Leeds

Our Client is looking for a Science ECT to work within a progressive mixed secondary school in York. The successful ECT will teach KS3 & KS4 and receive structured mentoring and CPD.

School Information:
This popular 11–18 comprehensive has around 1,200 pupils and maintains an excellent academic record, with 94% of students achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. Science remains one of the strongest faculties, equipped with modern labs and interactive technology.

The school provides exceptional support for ECTs, including reduced timetables, classroom observations, and access to an experienced mentor. Staff describe the culture as encouraging and growth-focused.

Experience and Qualifications
• Science ECT with the ability to teach KS3 & KS4
• A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
• Legal right to work within the UK

Salary
Paid to scale on MPS / UPS
