Year 4 Teacher — Manchester

An ambitious Manchester primary is seeking a reflective and confident Year 4 Teacher to join KS2 on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Year 4 Teacher will be involved in collaborative planning prior to January 2026, will attend induction in January 2026, and will teach from January 2026 onwards. This Full-Time Year 4 Teacher role is ideal for someone who enjoys curriculum design, assessment for learning and supporting colleagues through shared practice.

• Year 4 Teacher — Full-Time position with a January 2026 start.
• Year 4 Teacher to join a forward-looking Manchester KS2 phase — planning and induction start January 2026.
• Year 4 Teacher will receive subject coaching and career development from January 2026.

Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver sequenced mathematics, English and foundation units as the Year 4 Teacher, ensuring progression across the year.
• Use assessment to identify gaps and deliver targeted interventions as the Year 4 Teacher.
• Lead enrichment projects, coordinate educational visits and contribute to subject development as the Year 4 Teacher. The Year 4 Teacher will prepare resources before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026.

Development & culture for the Year 4 Teacher
The Year 4 Teacher will benefit from tailored CPD, coaching and opportunities to develop into subject leadership. From the induction in January 2026 the Year 4 Teacher will join a coaching cycle and access peer mentoring. This Full-Time Year 4 Teacher position starting January 2026 offers scope to lead curriculum innovation and to impact pupil outcomes meaningfully.

Person specification — Year 4 Teacher
We seek a Year 4 Teacher with QTS, secure KS2 practice and a collaborative approach. The Year 4 Teacher must be available for pre-term planning prior to January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 4 Teacher.
