Our Client is looking for an English ECT to work within a thriving mixed secondary school in Harrogate. The successful English ECT will be expected to teach KS3 & KS4 and will benefit from a structured induction and mentoring programme.

School Information
Over-subscribed school with excellent student engagement and behaviour
Good mixed school with supportive leadership and modern facilities

This 11–18 school educates around 1,150 pupils and consistently achieves strong academic outcomes, with 94% of students achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The English department has a reputation for fostering creativity and analytical thinking.

ECTs receive weekly mentoring sessions, CPD workshops, and reduced timetables during their first term. Staff describe the environment as collaborative and encouraging, with leadership that prioritises professional growth and wellbeing.

Experience and Qualifications
• English ECT with the ability to teach KS3 & KS4
• A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
• Legal right to work in the UK

Paid to scale on MPS
