This Independent School seeks a versatile and inspirational KS2 Teacher to join a collaborative phase on a Full-Time basis. The KS2 Teacher will take part in planning prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and begin classroom teaching from January 2026 as the KS2 Teacher. The Independent School prides itself on close mentoring and a curriculum designed to develop deep subject knowledge.

A week in the life of the KS2 Teacher
Mornings: the KS2 Teacher leads structured maths and English lessons that blend fluency, reasoning and vocabulary development. Afternoons: the KS2 Teacher teaches knowledge-rich foundation topics through project-based learning. The KS2 Teacher runs small-group work, leads interventions and designs enrichment that begins with planning before January 2026 and is implemented from January 2026. As part of an Independent School, the KS2 Teacher benefits from timely CPD and the freedom to adapt sequences to meet pupils’ needs.

Impact, development and CPD for the KS2 Teacher
The Independent School provides coaching cycles, peer observations and targeted training so the KS2 Teacher can refine practice. From induction in January 2026 the KS2 Teacher will join a structured CPD pathway and receive leadership mentoring. The KS2 Teacher will be encouraged to lead a subject strand and to contribute to whole-school development after January 2026.

KS2 Teacher — candidate profile
We seek a KS2 Teacher with QTS, excellent classroom management and strong subject knowledge across Key Stage 2. The KS2 Teacher should be collaborative, reflective and ready to prepare before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 in a Full-Time capacity.
