Our client — a well-established Independent School in Lambeth — is recruiting an inspirational Year 6 Teacher to lead an ambitious upper KS2 cohort from January 2026. The successful Year 6 Teacher will attend pre-term planning before January 2026, complete induction in January 2026, and begin day-to-day teaching from January 2026. Year 6 Teacher Responsibilities
As the Year 6 Teacher you will design rigorous curriculum sequences that develop reasoning in maths and deep comprehension in reading. The Year 6 Teacher will lead targeted booster programmes, run small-group interventions and manage assessment cycles. The Year 6 Teacher will coordinate transition evenings with receiving secondary schools and prepare clear handover documentation. The Year 6 Teacher will begin planning prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 6 Teacher.

We seek a Year 6 Teacher with QTS (or equivalent), proven Upper KS2 experience and excellent data-literacy. The Year 6 Teacher should be an effective communicator who can inspire resilient learners. The Year 6 Teacher will be available for pre-term meetings before January 2026, induction in January 2026, and full teaching duties from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 6 Teacher.
