Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons across the Year 6 curriculum.
- Prepare pupils effectively for entrance exams and secondary transition.
- Monitor, assess, and support pupil progress to ensure high achievement.
- Create an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to enrich learning experiences.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and contribute to school life beyond the classroom.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
- A sound understanding of the KS2 curriculum and preparation for entrance assessments.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- A reflective, dedicated, and inspirational approach to teaching.
