Music Teacher - Marvellous Supportive Secondary School

  • Music Teacher required to work on a full-time position from January 2026

Our Client is looking for a Music Teacher to work within a mixed secondary school in Huddersfield. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 and contribute to the school’s thriving performing arts programme.

School Information
This is a large 11–18 mixed school with around 1,200 pupils and a vibrant arts culture. In 2024, 90% of students achieved grades 9–4 at GCSE, with Music performing consistently well above national average. The school is equipped with a professional recording studio, ensemble rooms and a performance hall that hosts termly concerts and community events.

Teachers describe the school as inclusive, creative and forward-thinking. Staff are given excellent resources, structured professional development and genuine recognition for their work. The leadership team is approachable and supportive, ensuring a balanced workload and regular opportunities to share best practice.

Experience and Qualifications
• Music Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4
• A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
• Legal ability to work within the UK

Salary
Paid to scale on MPS / UPS
