Responsibilities

• You will deliver inspiring and rigorous tuition across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level).
• Your focus is driving high attainment and fostering a deep appreciation for diverse literary texts, advanced critical analysis, and confident communication.
• You will actively participate in the department’s co-curricular programmes, such as writing workshops, debating societies, and theatre trips.
• You are expected to contribute to the school's commitment to continuous improvement and staff wellbeing.

Requirements

• You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• You must have passed your induction period and possess a successful record of teaching English at KS4 and KS5.
• You must have the right to work in the UK.
• You must hold a Degree in English or a related subject.
