Geography Teacher – Birmingham – January 2026
A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Birmingham is looking to appoint a passionate Teacher of Geography to start in January 2026.
The school has been praised by Ofsted for its leadership, high standards and commitment to enrichment. The Humanities faculty plays a key role in the curriculum, with Geography enjoying excellent take-up at both GCSE and A-Level.
The Role
The successful candidate will deliver a curriculum that encourages geographical thinking, environmental awareness and global understanding. You’ll teach across KS3–KS5, contributing to fieldwork, curriculum design and sustainability initiatives.
Facilities
The department occupies a modern suite of classrooms equipped with digital mapping tools, GIS software and large-format displays. Fieldwork forms a vital part of learning, with visits to coastlines, city centres and national parks.
Students also participate in the school’s Eco Committee, leading projects on waste reduction and biodiversity.
About You
- Qualified Teacher of Geography with QTS (or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of geography curriculum and assessment.
