Our Client is looking for a Geography ECT to work within a top-performing mixed school in Durham. The successful Geography ECT will teach at KS3 & KS4 and join a department known for innovation, teamwork and academic excellence.

School Information:
This large, oversubscribed 11–18 school has 1,350 pupils and an exceptional record of student progress. In 2024, 92% achieved grades 9–4 at GCSE, with Geography achieving 89% at that level.

The school offers extensive CPD and mentoring for ECTs, with regular observations, department-led training, and ongoing career support.

  • Collaborative and friendly humanities department
  • Dedicated mentor for every ECT

Experience and Qualifications

  • Geography ECT with the ability to teach KS3 & KS4
  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
  • Legal ability to work within the UK
