Our Client is looking for an English ECT to work within a highly regarded mixed secondary school based in Leeds. This is a full-time position to start from January 2026.

Our Client is looking for an English ECT to teach across KS3 & KS4 within a thriving English department. The successful candidate will join a supportive team that prioritises creativity, critical thinking, and academic excellence.

Experience and Qualifications

  • English ECT
  • Be enthusiastic and eager to develop your practice
  • Have strong subject knowledge
  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
  • Legal ability to work within the UK

This is a high-achieving mixed secondary school with 1,100 pupils on roll. In 2024, 93% of students achieved grades 9–4 in English and Maths, and the English department maintained a 95% GCSE pass rate.
