A high-achieving independent 11–18 school in Oxford is seeking a passionate and innovative Design & Technology Teacher to join their Technology Faculty from January 2026. About the Role
The successful candidate will teach Design & Technology across KS3–KS5, specialising in Product Design, Engineering, or Resistant Materials. Lessons will promote creativity, technical accuracy, and an understanding of real-world applications. The department is equipped with advanced workshops featuring CNC routers, 3D printers, laser cutters, and CAD/CAM systems.
You will work collaboratively with a small, supportive team to deliver practical lessons that stretch and challenge students, encouraging them to think critically and develop design thinking skills. The school values cross-disciplinary learning, offering opportunities to link DT with Art, Physics, and Computer Science.

Experience and Qualifications
• QTS/PGCE and degree in DT, Engineering, or Product Design
• Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level desirable
• Excellent technical and design skills
