The Role

The school is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join a dedicated Key Stage 2 team. You will teach Year 4 pupils, delivering a broad and engaging curriculum that challenges and inspires learners.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons for Year 4 pupils.
• Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress to ensure all learners achieve their potential.
• Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and support curriculum development.
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Communicating effectively with parents and carers to support children’s learning.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – no ECTs for this post.
• Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4.
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and pupil progress.
