Science Technician – Manage Chemical Stocks and Provide Expert Apparatus Preparation for KS4/5 Practicals – Ealing

A well-regarded secondary school in Ealing is recruiting an experienced and meticulous Science Technician to focus on the advanced preparation of KS4 and KS5 practical lessons from January 2026.

  • Science Technician required from January 2026
  • Ealing-based school with a large, high-performing Science faculty.
  • Ideal for an organized individual with expertise in Chemistry and Physics prep.

You will be responsible for the efficient, safe, and accurate preparation of apparatus, chemicals, and solutions for practical lessons across all three sciences (especially Chemistry and Physics A-Level). Key duties include stock control, equipment maintenance, and adherence to CLEAPSS and COSHH guidelines.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Relevant experience working as a Science Technician, with demonstrable focus on secondary school practicals.
  • Strong knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe handling of chemicals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • A qualification in a Science subject is desirable.
