PE Teacher – Northamptonshire – January 2026

A successful 11–18 school in Northamptonshire is seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join its well-established Sports faculty from January 2026.

The school is Good with Outstanding personal development, known for its inclusive ethos, strong pastoral care and exceptional extra-curricular programme. Sport plays a central role in school life, promoting health, teamwork and resilience.

The Role

  • Teach PE across KS3–KS5, including examination PE courses.
  • Deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons.
  • Lead or assist with school sports teams and competitions.
  • Contribute to clubs, fixtures and enrichment events.

Facilities

The school boasts excellent sports facilities, including a full-size sports hall, 3G pitch, netball courts and athletics track. Partnerships with local clubs support pathways in football, athletics and rugby.

About You

  • QTS or equivalent in Physical Education or related subject.
  • Experience teaching theory and practical PE.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and a strong team player.
  • Committed to student wellbeing and participation in sport.
