Design & Technology Teacher – High-Achieving School in Dorchester
A high-achieving 11–18 school in Dorchester is seeking a Design & Technology Teacher to join their Technology Department from January 2026. This full-time, permanent position provides the opportunity to teach in a department that champions innovation, precision, and sustainability.
About the Role
The successful teacher will deliver Design & Technology across KS3–KS5, specialising in Product Design or Resistant Materials. You will design lessons that combine creativity and engineering, allowing students to develop confidence in using CAD/CAM, 3D printing, and modern manufacturing techniques.
You will also have the opportunity to support STEM projects, design exhibitions, and engineering competitions, ensuring students experience design thinking in real-world contexts.

Experience and Qualifications
• QTS/PGCE and degree in DT, Product Design, or Engineering
• Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Design & Technology
